Problems with large hoops

Our picture shows the hoop of the Designer1. In industry wooden handmade hoops are used. Plastic hoops at this sizes have their problems. The fabric is not fixed very well, so it is partially torn away. You can see it especially at the outlines that no longer match the design.

Here our solution:

Look for sandpaper at your DIY store. Choose textile-backed sandpaper for wet-sanding (emery cloth). We found "very fine"  the best. Look at the pictures how we stuck it to the Hoop. We used a water-soluble glue stick, so we can remove it without damage to the hoop.
