How to hoop a "Break-the-Limit" design
What you need: a graphics program, a printer, a textile
marker, sticky stabilizer

Step1. Prepare your template.
Please print the BMP file enclosed with the help of a good graphics program.
Windows Paint is not suitable, because it is not able to print in actual size. A ruler in
centimeters and inches is provided on the template to help you check the size. When your
template is printed out correctly, make small holes (with a pin or needle) at the center
Point (M) and at the starting stitch (S) of each design section (a,b,c,etc.)
Step 2. Hoop the sticky stabilizer by itself (You will
place your fabric on top later)
If you are not familiar with sticky stabilizer, please refer to our "Sticky Stabilizer" page. Remove the
protective paper of the stabilizer.

Step 3. Preparing your garment
Mark a line longer than your design (the template) along the straight grain and
in the desired position on your fabric.Position the template on your fabric or garment
where you want to stitch the design. Use the line you marked before to make sure that the
template is positioned along the straight grain. Then mark the Center Points (M), and the
First Stitches (S), using the holes you made in the template earlier.

Step 4. Adhere the fabric
Start your sewing machine, choose the design section you will be stitching first.
The machine will automatically go to the center of the design. Now adhere the fabric to
the sticky stabilizer so that the Center Point of the first design section (ending with a)
is exactly under the needle where your machine centers to begin stitching.
(Hoop your stabilizer, then choose your design, needle automaticly finds the
center, and then you adhere the fabric)

Step 5. Stitching the remaining sections
Stich the first section of your design. Now repeat Step 4 for the remaining
sections of your designs. (see hint below for reusing your hooped sticky stabilizer).
After you have repositioned your fabric for the second section, some machines permit
positioning the needle to the starting point of the new section. (with the
Pfaff 7570 touch button 0). If the needle point and the mark (S) you made don't coincide,
please correct the positioning of your fabric until they match, otherwise your design
sections won't fit together properly. If your machine does not have this feature, be sure
that you positioned your fabric along the straight grain.

Hint
Instead of hooping new adhesive stabilizer for each design section, simply patch
the hole made in the stabilizer by the previous embroidery with a small piece of the
adhesive stabilizer, removing the paper before stitching. This will save time hooping,
reduce waste and save money, as adhesive stabilizer is more expensive than regular
stabilizer.
Before trying this technique on your good fabric or garment, we recommend doing a sample on scrap fabric for practice.
